Nate and Jeremiah Wedding
Famous interior designers Nate and Jeremiah Wedding took place on May 3, 2014. The couple got engaged in Peru back in 2013. After dating an year they finally celebrated their relationship in the New York Public Library.
Time Flies
Nate Berkus married Jeremiah Brent 4 years ago now. Before the big day both of them knew how emotional it will be for them. They did not prepare for everything which could or may have gone wrong, which it did.
Highlights
One of the incidents is regarding the president of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, Sheri Salata who officiated Nate and Jeremiah wedding. Nate shares his part of the story that Sheri accidentally knocked our ceremonial glass off onto the floor and it broke. This was something hilarious and I am sure we will be laughing about this incident many years from now!
As a matter of fact, both Nate and Jeremiah had planned the glass breaking element at the end of their wedding ceremony. It is a Jewish tradition, both Nate and Jeremiah agreed that this was the funniest moment of the night.
We look down some memorable pictures of the event.
Nate and Jeremiah Wedding Card
Wedding cards are quite important as it represents the wedding couple. The wedding card of Nate and Jeremiah was quite elegant yet simple. Elum Designs for Sugar Press designed classical invitations.

Dinner time! Just a glance at Nate and Jeremiah Wedding dinner hall. It just looks elegantly fascinating.
Wedding Hall View
The total number of guests in Nate and Jeremiah Wedding were 220. That number includes the grooms families, as well as Berkus TV Show friends Oprah Winfrey, Rachel Ray, and Busy Philipps.

The smile is real. The moment of joy arrives with Jeremiah mother walking side by him. The groom is here. A beaming Brent is walked down the aisle by Jeremiah’s mother Gwen Johnson.

Nate and Jeremiah taking Vows
We have always known how emotional Jeremiah can be. So he was here. The emotions were never higher than this ceremony. Brent has joked about his inability to stop crying that day. Sheri Salata who officiated the wedding was deeply involved by all the processing. She said:
It is simply stunning to witness something like this. I think no one got to walk into that blessing.
Wedding Glass Ceremonial Picture
Both Nate and Jeremiah had planned the glass breaking element at the end of their wedding ceremony. It is a Jewish tradition, both Nate and Jeremiah agreed that this was the funniest moment of the night. After saying their vows, the couple was ready to break the glass. Salata (officiator) accidentally knocked their ceremonial glasses onto the floor.

Guests enjoyed a meal that included a beet salad with burrata, herb-stuffed roasted chicken, Black Angus ribeye and a variety of sides, like truffled mac and cheese and kale salad.

It’s food serving time now.
Wedding Table
Marcy Blum was the guy Nate and Jeremiah approached for the wedding. Marcy is the wedding planner of Nate and Jeremiah wedding. The reception was done by Marchy, using a palette of black, white, cream and gold to create a dreamy, modern feel. Nate is an expert in this area as well. The table linens was a contribution from his calico collection and dinnerware sets from his famous Target line.
Dessert
A keepsake menu, design by Swiss Cottage Designs. The tooths of the guests were sweeten with confections by Great Performances, each of them left with a special souvenir to recall them of the culinary delights.
Nate and Jeremiah with Oprah
Oprah was the one who gave Nate his first break in his early career. Apart from this, Nate has shared his story of the natural disaster tsunami on her show. She is one of the closest friends of Nate. Nate lost his partner in the tsunami back in Sri Lanka 2004. Our readers can read the complete story in the link below.
After the Wedding
Not only was the guys’ wedding facinating, but it was history-making as well: Nate and Jeremiah Wedding was the very first same-sex marriage to be performed at the New York Public Library.

Nate and Jeremiah Wedding Band
Everyone wants the band after the ceremony. The Gospel for Teens/The Mama Foundation for the Arts gave top notch performance. They are Nate’s favorite band. Both the couple and the guests had a great time listening to them.
The Beginning of a Journey
Nate Berkus wore a J.Crew suit. Jeremiah Brent chose Saint Laurent. Their special night only got better than ever, Marjorie Gubelmann, aka DJ Mad Marj, spun tunes at the reception, while singer Estelle sang her hit, “American Boy.”

It’s amazing to pay a visit this site and reading the views of all mates concerning this post, while I am also zealous of getting familiarity.
I am Charlotte from Alabama and I want you to know how much I enjoyed your home, family and your lives in general. Nate my mother, sister and myself have loved you since we saw you the first time on TV. If we new you were going to be on at a certain time, we would jump thru hoops getting to mama’s. Gosh we had so much fun, and to this date I worship you. Ya’ll have a lovely family be sure to tell them you love them everyday because you never know what tomorrow may bring, we aren’t even guarenteed that day. I have already been thru that and when you loose your mama and sister, it’ll about do you in. My immediate family is my 44yr old son, the love of my life, daughter in law and my 2 wonderful grandsons, may God bless them all.
I am from England (a little town called Billericay in Essex) and have loved watching your Nate & Jeremiah by Design show. Absolutely love you guys and your children (Poppy & Oskar) are just simply adorable. Good luck to you both in all that you do.
