Alright. we’re gonna start off with our rapid-fire QnA segment which is a little word association and get warmed up.
Jeremiah: Okay I’m so stressed. But I love this game.
The First Word – Plants
Nate: I was gonna say pot and I don’t even know why. I don’t even smoke pot.
The Second Word – Couch
Jeremiah: Homebase. Feel like the sofa is always kind of worth it. Our day usually starts and a lot of times where it ends. Whether it’s in the morning that you’re giving Oscar his bottle, or at night with the kids were doing him a little book before we go upstairs to put them to bed. It’s kind of this epicenter where you know our family all come together and pile on your joking, you’re crying, you’re holding them. It seems a lot.

Here are the rules for segment two of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Instagram QnA. It’s called Dirty Laundry. When I (interviewer) sit on my couch I fold my laundry. So you both are gonna fold as much laundry as you can and in the end, we’ll let the fans decide who is the winner. While you guys fold on the laundry I’m gonna ask you Nate and Jeremiah Design questions from the Instagram audience.
The Perfect Home
What makes the perfect home?
Nate: So I think a room should feel assembled and layered over time. It’s important to take your time and really figure out what your actual design style is. Stop paying so much attention to what everybody else is doing.
Jeremiah: I think in a perfect home for me is always the perfect display of the people that live there.
The One Piece to Buy
The second question from a fan of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Instagram is:
I have a bunch of furniture that I don’t like. What is one piece to buy to make an impact?
Jeremiah: Sofa. Yeah, I think the sofa is like the little black dress of your house. You should have a great piece that is timeless. It can transition, you can kind of blend different design aesthetics with it, Find something with clean lines because a good sofa never goes out of style.
Nate: I think that you should keep this sofa neutral. Why? because you can change the pillows, you can change the throw on it, you can change you know the things around it. But if you like to buy like a plaid sofa just because you’re having a plaid moment, that’s probably gonna be the first thing that you redo.
Who won Dirty Laundry?
So let’s end the segment of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Instagram QnA and ask the fans who won this segment of folding the laundry. Comment below, who do you think won the segment?
What are you guys working on right now?
Nate: So we are actually running around, talking about our new collection for Nate & Jeremiah living spaces. We’re super excited about it. We’ve partnered with them now for a couple of years. Our latest collection is out now and national shipping is available.
Jeremiah: I think there’s a couple of things we’re excited about. The opportunity that we can kind of share some of our designs across from close to the coast. Also, the fact that we’re really proud of the pieces that we’re launching. A lot of it is inspired by French Fifty. This idea of bringing back really classic clean designs that can transition in anybody’s design aesthetic because design, as you know, is having some special moment what people can live really beautifully and not break the bank so to speak to do it. So we’re excited to be a part of that next chapter. We’re excited to share the designs that people in seeing how they connect.
